Silvestre is one of the more dynamic technicians in the detail department. After winning the 1976 Pan-American Spelling Bee at the age of eleven, Silvo had a few bright years doing spots for Japanese day-time television. With deregulation in Uruguay, his family's chocolate cookie empire crumbled in the late 1980's, and Silvestre fell on some lean times. He moved to Austin from Lillehammer, France, at the Winter Solstice, 1997. He has been performing 'Bye Bye Miss American Pie' at company picnics since 2006.
