At a Glance: 2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan
The 2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan builds on the second-generation 2007 model's myriad revisions, which included a next-generation 306-horsepower 3.5-liter V6; a striking new exterior defined by the sleek wave form hood, signature G-style taillights and raked A-pillars for an athletic stance; a crafted, Takumi-inspired interior environment; and the audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on Wheels � by Bose®.
Enhancements for the 2008 model year include an available Sport Package for the G35x AWD model for the first time in G history (in addition to the G35 Journey Sport Package) and a new 18-inch Tire and Wheel Package for G35x AWD (late availability); revised Technology and Navigation Packages; available Infiniti iPod® Interface and Driver's Audio Stage; and standard XM® Satellite Radio (requires XM® subscription, sold separately). There is also one new exterior color - Desert Platinum.
The heart of the 2008 G35 is its advanced engine, platform and drivetrain, anchored by the award-winning VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 mated to a choice of a 5-speed automatic transmission with Manual Shift Mode and Downshift Rev Matching or close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Steering wheel-mounted magnesium paddle shifters are offered as part of the available Sport Package (automatic transmission only).
The G's second generation FM (Front Mid-ship) platform features a 4-wheel independent suspension with lightweight aluminum components and improved body stiffness. The 2008 G35x AWD features Infiniti's �intelligent� ATTESA E-TS™ all-wheel drive system.
Available advanced technologies include RearView Monitor, a touch screen navigation system with real-time traffic and the audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on Wheels™ by Bose® Premium Audio System, combining the industry's first 3-way front door speaker array using 10-inch woofers with a head unit incorporating double oversampling 24-bit Burr Brown® Digital Audio Converters.
